I'm on my way to freedom
so I change the minute hand
on the clock
just this once
I don't want to fall behind
how could I though
now that I know
that the look in your eyes
that tells me of my beautiful mind

garden hose 9/12/13
garden hose gulping
and spider water drinking
wedding the strawberry beds
walnut stained my feet will be
and the snowball bushes bring life to me

New love 8/2013
you light my fire and keep me warm
when it's winter cold
and when I'm at war
you hold me tight
and you know for me that I'll be alright
the moon is orange and your kiss is sweet
we stand in the street and admire the glow
and in the woods you hold my hand
and on the hill you give me flowers
and at the sunset you I love
and I know you love me more
than I could ever know
when it's winter cold
and when I'm at war
you hold me tight
and you know for me that I'll be alright
the moon is orange and your kiss is sweet
we stand in the street and admire the glow
and in the woods you hold my hand
and on the hill you give me flowers
and at the sunset you I love
and I know you love me more
than I could ever know

Hydrangeas
Fresh flowers in our room each night
Hydrangeas bloom
I breathe again
My feet
Still bare
Walk on the stones
The warmth brings life to me
She's got blue eyes
And she's got brown
They both show me their rivers
We all walk to the raging seas
Of peace anticipation
His eyes are blue and never far
He clears the trail for me
With help I see, in them I see
The beauty in everything
Multiplied/ Engage
The inside is sweet
It hurts I can't hold
I ache for more space
Seams stretch and grow
Overflow
Borders crack
I won't go back
The edge of sad
Does it stay that way?
It sparks in dark
I feel its pain
But I'm surprised to find
Love multiplied
12/28/14
It hurts I can't hold
I ache for more space
Seams stretch and grow
Overflow
Borders crack
I won't go back
The edge of sad
Does it stay that way?
It sparks in dark
I feel its pain
But I'm surprised to find
Love multiplied

Telescope Escapade
She carried the graveyard sheet for me, her hair so long and red and pretty
And he brought his mind full of telescope escapades, books of automobiles and animals and deep sea diving for treasure
And we all took turns looking at the moon
And the girl who is borderline young again, and him, they ran together to the end
His new spectacles spare him falls and her brown hair blowing wild like a princess
And when those three walk the road to home and I'm held so tight
I say surely I've never been so loved
The night with the graveyard sheet and the colorful stars
and the telescope boy and the brown haired girl who is young again
and and the girl with the hair and the heart like fire
and the one I'll hold forever close
Surely I'll forever be so loved
